I am half-way through with my seminary degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville. I was up there last weekend for a class/conference on marriage and ministry. Several things applied to the D6 conversation. Two messages are especially relevant. One is by C.J. Mahaney about Marriage and Pastoral Ministry and the other is by Russell Moore about Purity in Marriage. I cannot recommend these messages enough—especially Dr. Moore’s. Recently I had the opportunity to attend T4G in Louisville, KY. Although I missed the last day (Matt Chandler and John Piper . . . I know, the best part right?) of T4G, I did get to hear 5 or 6 incredibly challenging sermons.
